Collection: BBQ Oven Gloves

This is the first pair of oven gloves I've ever owned, so I don't have much to compare to. But these work extremely well to protect my hands from the heat. I took a baking dish out of a 400 degree oven and held it for about 15 to 20 seconds before I started to feel intense heat through the gloves. The silicone strips on the fingers give a very good grip.

My old potholders and oven mitts haven't been used (except as trivets) since I got these gloves. They are so useful and so immensely better than the older type mitts and gloves. I wonder why someone didn't invent them sooner.

Excellent heat blockage, and the perfect color for kitchen use. My last pair was white....really? Fit wee for medium sized hands (mine) and hubby's large hands. Might be too big for small or petite hands.

Added: 6 years later and they are still working well. They have gone through the washer and dryer multiple times with no loss of effectiveness. Just bought a pair for our camping trip!

No more burns. Am able to pick up very hot items and not get burned. Having gloves like these should be a must for every person who bakes. Being confident that you won't get burned as you take items in and out of oven or microwave is very important because you're less likely to drop hot items all over yourself, which is a good thing.

Purchased several for Christmas gifts and Everybody loved them! Got one for my husband and perfect for the smoker as gloves that came with the smoker didn't work as you still about burnt your hands, not with this product! Awesome!

These gloves are legend. The longer sleeves are nice to help protect your forearms and the thickness (heat resistance) is perfect to be able to pick up a flaming log off the side of the fire and throw it back up on top. I've tested these out pretty aggressively and they stay cool for a few seconds at least. If you hold something hot enough, for long enough, the heat will get through, but that's to be expected. Also the black color is nice so the char from the logs doesn't show up as much. The rubber pattern gives a nice grip.

These oven gloves work great. I find them especially useful for lifting and pouring my teapot of boiling water, and for handling items in a hot oven. I just bought another pair for a friend definitely recommend them.
